Former Secretary of Transportation of North Carolina & COO of District of Columbia Public Schools

Brigadier General (Retired) Anthony J. Tata has served as Secretary of Transportation of North Carolina from 2013 to 2015 under Governor Pat McCrory. Tata served as a National Security Fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In January 2013, North Carolina governor Pat McCrory appointed Tata as Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Transportation. As Secretary of Transportation, he was also a member of the North Carolina Cabinet. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the District of Columbia Public Schools (2009–2010) and Superintendent of the Wake County Public School System ( the 16th largest school district in the nation). He is a former brigadier general in the United States Army, having served for 28 years in the military. General Tata served two tours of duty at Fort Bragg in the 82nd Airborne Division. He also was brigade commander in the 101st Airborne Division and Deputy Commanding General of the 10th Mountain Division. He is also an acclaimed novelist whose subject matter focuses on military life. Tata is most known for the fictional Threat series. Currently, he serves as a Member of Advisory Board for FinestGov and for Venture Fund Consortium.

Former COO of Port Authority of New York & New Jersey

Stephanie Dawson, the former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, ($8.5 billion dollar budget) which oversees much of the regional transportation infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, airports, and seaports, including the third-largest volume of shipping among all ports in the United States and the largest on the Eastern Seaboard, six bi-state bridge and tunnel crossings, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, the PATH rail system, 5 Airports (LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy Airport, Newark Liberty Airport, Teterboro and Stewart) and its own 1,700-member Port Authority Police Department. Stephanie Dawson directed all of the agency’s transportation business. She is also a Retired US Army Colonel, who had a groundbreaking military career, becoming the first female to serve as a brigade commander in the New York Army National Guard. As Brigade Commander, she provided command and control of assigned battalions, including the 369th Special Troops Batallion, the 101 Expeditionary Signal Battalion, the 56th Personnel Services Batallion and the 104th Military Police Batallion.

Brennan Hart served as an Associate Administrator for the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs for The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). Hart, served as GSA’s principal liaison to Congress, federal agencies and state and local governments. GSA employs about 12,000 federal workers, has an annual operating budget of roughly $20.9 billion and oversees $66 billion of procurement annually. It contributes to the management of about $500 billion in U.S. federal property, divided chiefly among 8,700 owned and leased buildings and a 215,000 vehicle motor pool. Most recently, Hart served as a lead advance representative for Donald J. Trump for President, directing an advance team to produce nationwide public and private events for presidential and vice-presidential candidates. He also served in the administration of President George W. Bush as a White House advance representative and senior advisor at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Major General (Retired), Leadership Advisor

Price is as a certified member of the Army Acquisition Corps. As the U.S. Army's first female Program Executive Officer (PEO), Price guided the Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications-Tactical (C3T) workforce of more than 1,800 personnel who execute an annual budget of $4 billion. The dedicated PEO C3T team works by the Warfighter's side in training and theater locations throughout the world. They acquire, sustain and support the networked mission command solutions that bring technological dominance to present and future Warfighters. Within one year of Price's tenure, which began in November 2009, PEO C3T was awarded the David Packard award, the Department of Defense acquisition community's highest award. In 2004, Price received the Army Acquisition Excellence Project Manager (PM) of the Year Award as PM Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (DCATS). As PM DCATS, she managed programs valued at more than $2 billion. As Deputy Acquisition Executive, Price was responsible for providing more than $3 billion per year of specialized equipment for service-wide National and Theater Special Operators.

Former Deputy Commandant for Manpower & Reserve Affairs, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C

Lieutenant General Jack W. Klimp served as the Deputy Commandant for Manpower & Reserve Affairs, U.S. Marine Corps. General Klimp has served as an instructor at the Naval Academy and The Basic School. His staff assignments include tours as Chief, Field Training Exercise Branch; Chief, Exercise Division; Operations Directorate J-3; and Director of the Joint Operations Center, U.S. Central Command during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
While serving as Commander, Task Force Mogadishu, during Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, he was selected for promotion to brigadier general. General Klimp assumed his last assignment as the Commanding General, Marine Corps Recruiting Command, Headquarters,
Washington, D.C. He was promoted to lieutenant general and was assigned as Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs.
