FinestGov™ Employee Attendance Tools
The FinestGov™ Employee Attendance Tools allow the company’s employees to report attendance using their smartphones. The attendance report includes clock in and clock out times, as well as break times. The attendance reporting may be set to be optional, or mandatory, before starting any sort of daily activities, reporting of checkpoint visits or any other events. Any attendance reporting also includes the employee’s location, which is detected when the report is submitted by the employee.
In addition, it is possible to set up an attendance report based on location. An employee in the field would be able to report his shifts start and end times, only if he is physically present at the location set for him. This feature prevents employees from submitting false attendance reports when in fact they have not reached the location set for them, where their work is to be performed or where they are supposed to perform the task for the employer. Furthermore, the system, can also count the location of the phone on their body ( in cases they put down the phone at the job site and leave), and the times they left their job sites. and can deduct those times from their attendance, or times at the job site.
The system can also require them to scan the nearby NFC tags at their specific job site periodically, to let the system know that they are where they are supposed to be and are next to the exact location they are supposed to be performing their task, which is especially crucial when they are out of a GPS range or are inside a building.
All of this data is available to the management, and can be viewed on the server and is ready to be printed. The data may be edited by the supervisors, although the original can be used to settle disputes between contractors and employers. There is also an option to export attendance reports to external systems.
Using this module helps to prevent errors in the reporting of attendance and alleviates the need of manually collecting the data from each employee, as well as the need to use attendance forms and then typing or retyping them into the system.
